The spirit of the Vienna Shorts Festival 2025 is encapsulated in its theme: “MOVE CLOSER! RADICAL INTIMACY.” 

 

This theme invites audiences to explore the depths of human connection and the nuances of closeness in contemporary society. Inspired by Sophie K. Rosa’s book Radical Intimacy, the festival aims to delve into how intimacy can serve as a political and transformative space.

In this project, I created eight style frames to design the opening ceremony animation trailer, incorporating the theme of bodily intimacy into the overall design.
